Mariam Hambarchyan has a wealth of experience in product and user research, program management, and teaching. Mariam began their career in 2010 as a Social Psychology Researcher at the University of California, Los Angeles. In 2011, they took on the role of Lead Project Manager & Researcher at the UCLA Anderson School of Management, where they managed research executed by 30+ faculty and PhD students, increased the Behavioral Lab productivity by 3x, and conducted 15 survey, lab, and field studies with 2,000+ participants. From 2013 to 2017, Mariam worked as a Behavioral Science Researcher at Stanford University Graduate School of Business, where they designed, executed, analyzed, and wrote up 35 survey, lab, and field studies with 10,000+ participants. In 2017, Mariam began working at Neosensory, Inc. as a Lead User Researcher and User Researcher. In 2019, Mariam took on roles as an Instructor & Advisory Board Member of the GovTech Accelerator at the Catalyst High-Tech & Entrepreneurship Development Foundation, a Product & User Research Consultant for multiple startups, and a User Research Workshop Instructor at SmartGateVC. Finally, in 2020, Mariam became the Program Manager of the Armenian Virtual Bridge Accelerator at AGBU, and in 2021, they began their current role as a Product Manager at ZERO.

Mariam Hambarchyan obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2011, and a Bachelor's Degree in English from the same institution in 2011. Mariam then attended Stanford University Graduate School of Business, where they obtained a Master's Degree in Behavioral Science in 2016, though they left their PhD early. In 2021, they obtained a certification in Behavioral Design for Health from Irrational Labs Company. Mariam also obtained certifications in Finding Product/Market Fit, Retention + Engagement, and Mastering Product Management from Reforge in 2022.
