Anu Liikkanen

Anu Liikkanen has had a varied career in the film industry. Anu began their career in 2004 as an Animator at Osuuskunta Animaatiokopla. In 2005 they moved to Halt FX as a Digital Artist and then to Las Palmas Films in 2006 as a Digital Artist. In 2008 they joined Brickyard Filmworks as a Digital Artist. In 2010 they joined Zero VFX as a Digital Artist, where they worked on commercials and feature films. Her roles included plate prep, compositing, matte painting and concept art. Anu then moved to MPC in 2011 as a Compositor and Lead Prep Artist. In 2013 they returned to Zero VFX as a Compositor and also began Freelance work as a Nuke Compositor. In 2015 they became a Lead Compositor at Zero VFX and was promoted to Senior Compositor in the same year.

Anu Liikkanen obtained a Certificate in Maya 3D Animation from the Center for Digital Imaging Arts at Boston University in 2008. Anu then went on to receive a BA in Animation from the University of Wolverhampton in 2004. In 2021, Anu was Circuit Stream Certified as an XR Developer - Unity from Circuit Stream.
