Chris Elmer

Lookdev/Lighting Lead at Zero VFX

Chris Elmer has worked in the film industry since 2005. Chris began their career as a Motion Graphics Artist at Farmer's Almanac TV in 2005. In 2007, they moved to Rhythm & Hues, where they held roles as a Look Development Artist, Texture Artist, and Lighting Artist. In 2010, Elmer joined MPC, where they held roles as Lead Lighting/Lookdev Artist and Senior Lighting Artist. In 2014, they moved to Image Engine Design Inc. as a Lighting/Lookdev Lead. In 2015, they joined Double Negative as a Lookdev/Lighting Lead, and in 2018 they moved to Blue Sky Studios as a Materials TD. Most recently, Elmer joined ZERO VFX in 2021 as a Lookdev/Lighting Lead.

Chris Elmer attended Marlboro College from 2001 to 2002 and then went on to obtain a B.F.A in Visual Effects from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2007.
