Dan Cayer

Dan Cayer has been working in the visual effects industry since 2000. Dan began their career at Tippett Studio as a Compositing Supervisor, Compositing Lead, Compositor, Lighting TD, and Animator. In 2005, they joined Blue Sky Studios as a Compositing Supervisor, Lead Compositor, Lighting Lead, and Lighting/Compositing TD. That same year, they also founded The Layersmith Digital, where they held the role of VFX Supervisor and Owner, providing feature film compositing for numerous studios and VFX houses. In 2014, they joined ZERO VFX as Senior Visual Effects Supervisor and Head of 2D. In 2018, they became a Real Estate Investor and Managing Partner at myHome603 LLC.

Dan Cayer attended the University of Massachusetts Lowell from 1996 to 1997 and then attended the Academy of Art University from 1997 to 2000.
