Joe Hsu

Joe Hsu has over 20 years of experience in the tech industry. Joe began their career in 1995 as a RF Design Engineer at Microelectronics Tech. Inc. In 1997, they joined HP/Agilent as an Application Engineer/Project Manager for the APAC region. From 2000 to 2012, they worked at Nokia Mobile Phones, where they held the roles of Head of HW R&D Engineering, Design Validation Specialist/Manager, and Senior Design Engineer/System Engineer. In 2012, they founded Woobitech Co. Ltd, where they served as Founder & CEO. Since 2015, they have been the SVP, Partner at Zero Zero Robotics Inc., a robotics startup company specializing in embedded AI technology.

Joe Hsu has a diverse educational background. Joe holds a MS-EE from Columbia Engineering in Wireless & Mobile Communications, a BS-ECE from UC Irvine in Electrical & Computer Engineering, and has completed a number of certifications from various institutions. These include a Introduction to Data Science in Python from the University of Michigan, a Oxford Entrepreneurship: Venture Finance Programme from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, an Artificial Intelligence: Implications for Business Strategy from MIT Sloan Executive Education, an Introduction to Blockchain Technologies from INSEAD, a Python for Everybody Specialization from the University of Michigan, and a CDMA Engineering Certificate Program from UC San Diego Extension. Joe also attempted a MS-ISE from USC Viterbi School of Engineering in Industrial & System Engineering / Engineering Management, but did not graduate.
