Alexander Markovich

Alexander Markovich has a diverse work experience in the field of deep learning and computer vision. Alexander is currently working as a Senior Computer Vision Engineer at ZERO10 since September 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a University Lecturer at the Higher School of Economics, where they designed and conducted courses on Deep Learning for Sound Processing, Efficient Deep Learning Systems, and applied deep learning tasks. Alexander also worked as an Assistant Lecturer at the Yandex School of Data Analysis, where they developed and reviewed homework assignments in deep learning, computer vision, and graphics.

In terms of industry experience, Alexander worked as a Deep Learning Engineer at Myna Labs, where they researched human body morphing techniques and worked on various speech processing tasks such as speech synthesis, voice activity detection, voice conversion, and speech recognition. Alexander was also involved in hiring new employees and building the NLP team. Prior to this, they worked as a Deep Learning Engineer at Mail.Ru Group, where they developed algorithms for Keyword Spotting, Automatic Speech Recognition, and Text-to-Speech for a voice virtual assistant. Additionally, they worked on emotional speech synthesis based on Normalizing Flows.

In the earlier stages of their career, Alexander worked as a Data Engineer at Yandex from December 2017 to February 2019.

Alexander Markovich has a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Higher School of Economics, where they studied from 2015 to 2019. Alexander then pursued further education by enrolling in the Yandex School of Data Analysis from 2019 to 2021. Simultaneously, they also pursued a Master's degree in Data Science from the Higher School of Economics, which they completed in 2022.
