Ali Meraj

Ali Meraj has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering. Ali is currently working as the Lead Electric Propulsion Control Engineer at ZeroAvia since August 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Integral Powertrain from 2015 to 2021, where they held multiple roles including Senior Software and Control Engineer, Application and Control Software Development Engineer, and Development Engineer. Before that, they worked at Maplin Electronics as a Member of Technical Staff from 2014 to 2015. Ali also gained valuable internship experience at Pakistan International Airlines and Pakistan Aeronautical Complex, where they obtained knowledge and skills in areas such as air traffic control systems, aircraft maintenance, production of avionics equipment, and radar testing.

Ali Meraj earned a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering from Cranfield University from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) degree in Avionics from Pakistan Air Force Karachi Institute of Economics and Technology between 2009 and 2012. Ali also attended Army Public College from 2007 to 2008 for their Intermediate education and Fazaia Inter School from 2005 to 2006 for their Matriculation studies, both with a focus on Pre-Engineering.
