Eric Matteson

Eric Matteson has a strong background in the aviation and automation industries. Eric has held various executive and managerial roles, starting with GE Power in 1992, where they worked as an Application Engineer, designing and implementing industrial gas turbine control systems. Eric then joined GE Fanuc Automation Americas Inc in 1994, where they held roles such as Application Engineer, Manager of Applications Development, Manager of Control Systems Business, and Six Sigma Black Belt. During their time at GE Fanuc, they led teams and drove improvements in customer support, control system solutions, and ISO 9000 procedures. In 2005, Eric joined GE Aviation and held roles such as Program Leader, Executive in Sourcing, and Executive as Plant Leader. Their responsibilities included final assembly of jet engines, setting up assembly sites, and driving productivity. Currently, Eric is working for ZeroAvia as the Vice President of Production and Supply Chain, where they are focused on developing zero-emission aviation powertrain solutions.

Eric Matteson earned a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology in 1989-1994. Eric also completed the GE Executive and Leadership Development Programs at Crotonville Alumni from 2006-2015. Additionally, Eric achieved the rank of Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America in 1986.
