Ertem Aygin

Ertem Aygin, MSc, MBA has extensive work experience in the aerospace industry. Their most recent position was as the Head of Supply Chain Strategy and Contracts at ZeroAvia, where they focused on managing supply chain operations and developing partnerships. Prior to that, they worked as the Technology Partnerships Manager at ZeroAvia, where they were responsible for fostering partnerships with key technology suppliers.

Before joining ZeroAvia, Ertem worked at GKN Aerospace as a Principal Research Specialist, where they conducted research and contributed to the development of innovative aerospace technologies. Ertem also worked at the Aerospace Technology Institute as an Industrial Strategy Manufacturing Technologist, where they played a crucial role in developing industrial strategies and manufacturing technologies for the FlyZero project.

Ertem has a strong background in machining research and engineering. Ertem worked at GKN Aerospace as a Machining Research Lead, where they led research initiatives and contributed to the advancement of machining technologies. Prior to that, they worked as a Process Engineer at Praxair Surface Technologies, where they focused on process optimization and improvement.

Ertem began their career at GE Aviation, where they held several leadership positions. As a Technology Lead, they were responsible for guiding the development of broaching technology and ensuring its adherence to quality and FAA requirements. Ertem also served as an Engineering Manager, where they supported engine component manufacturing and resolved issues to ensure timely engine deliveries.

Throughout their career, Ertem has demonstrated strong project management skills, technical expertise, and a focus on quality and efficiency. Ertem holds an MSc in Aerospace Engineering, an MBA, and has a wealth of experience in the aerospace industry.

Ertem Aygin, MSc, MBA, obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Suleyman Demirel University in 2002. Ertem went on to pursue a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Istanbul Technical University, completed between 2002 and 2005. Additionally, they attended Işık Üniversitesi from 2011 to 2013 to pursue an Executive MBA, although the degree achieved is not specified.
