James Holt

James Holt is a Senior Thermal Engineer at ZeroAvia since June 2023, with extensive experience in thermal engineering and systems development across various industries. Previously, at Philips Engineering Solutions, James was responsible for the thermal architecture of precision machines for the semiconductor sector. Prior roles include serving as a Gas Safety Engineer at ASML, where guidance was provided on handling various hazardous gases, and as a Systems Engineer at Van Oord, where James pioneered Systems Engineering practices in offshore wind projects. James also held multiple engineering positions at Rolls-Royce, focusing on thermal and fluid systems, design integration for the UltraFan® engine, and performance assessments for the Trent XWB-97. James Holt holds a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Imperial College London.
