Jeff Konopacki

Principal Engineer Propulsion at ZeroAvia

Jeff Konopacki has over 30 years of work experience in various engineering roles. Jeff is currently working as the Principal Engineer Propulsion at ZeroAvia. Prior to that, they were the President of KonoKraft, LLC. from 2015 to 2021. Jeff also worked as the Power Electronics Systems and Application Manager at TECO-Westinghouse Motor Company and as the Principle Mechanical Engineer at National Instruments.

Earlier in their career, Jeff was the Vice President at Renewegy, where they led the design of wind turbines and hybrid electric vehicles. Jeff also served as the Director of Advanced Engineering at MotoTron Corporation, where they led a team of engineers in the development of embedded control products.

Jeff has experience in the racing industry as well, having worked as a Project Engineer at Mercury Marine. Jeff also has experience as an Engineering Manager at Power Test Inc. and as a Project Engineer at SESCO. Jeff started their career as a Consortium Lab Manager at the Milwaukee School of Engineering, where they played a vital role in prototyping and design.

Jeff Konopacki has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, specializing in Mechanical Design, Microprocessors, and Control Theory from the Milwaukee School of Engineering. Jeff also completed a Tool & Die Apprenticeship at Star Tool & Die.
