Alwin W. has a diverse range of work experience in the field of cybersecurity. Alwin began their career at Ordina in 2006, where they worked in various roles as a Unix and Security Engineer, Monitoring Engineer, and Network Engineer. Alwin remained with Ordina until 2016.

In 2017, Alwin W. joined Zerocopter as a Security Researcher and later joined Ordina again in 2018 as an Ethical Hacker. Alwin also worked as a Security tester for the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate (via Ordina) from 2020 to 2021.

In 2019, Alwin W. worked as a Penetration Tester for Achmea (via Ordina) and as an ICT Security Specialist for the Municipality of Groningen (via Ordina) from 2018 to 2018.
