Robert Silvers

Board Member

Robert Silvers is currently a Partner and Co-Chair of the National Security Practice at Ropes & Gray LLP and a Distinguished Fellow at the NYU Center on Cybersecurity. They served as the Under Secretary for Policy and Chair of the U.S. Cyber Safety Review Board at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security from 2011 to 2013, overseeing critical areas such as cybersecurity and supply chain resilience. Silvers has also been a Partner at Paul Hastings, advising on cybersecurity and national security law. They began their legal career as a Law Clerk for Judge Kim McLane Wardlaw at the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit after earning a Juris Doctor from New York University School of Law. Silvers holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations from the University of Pennsylvania.
