Hailey Monar

Hailey Monar has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Hailey is currently working at ZeroKey Inc. as the Director of Marketing, where they started in August 2022 after serving as the Manager of Marketing from January to August 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Digital & Social Media Specialist at ZeroKey Inc. from January 2021 to February 2022.

Hailey also has experience in the non-profit sector, having served as a Committee Member at Women+Power since May 2020. Additionally, they worked as an Events & Communications Specialist at Calgary Economic Development from October 2020 to January 2021.

Before transitioning into marketing and communications roles, Hailey worked at Critical Path Group as a Project Manager from February 2020 to October 2020. In this role, they were responsible for managing two annual venture forums focusing on technology commercialization and access-to-capital.

Prior to that, Hailey worked as a Marketing Lead at Critical Path Group from May 2018 to October 2020, where they played a key role in developing and implementing marketing strategies.

Hailey also gained experience in the fitness industry as a Front Desk Personnel & Social Media Manager at Revive Lifestyle Fitness from August 2017 to August 2018.

Hailey's early professional experiences include working as a Summer Student in various roles at ATCO Power Canada Ltd. Hailey served as a Summer Student in GT & Hydro Operations from May to August 2017, as well as in Corporate Communications from May to August 2016. In both roles, they provided support in content generation and writing, as well as streamlining processes and generating innovative ideas.

Hailey also had an opportunity to gain operational experience as a Summer Student in Operational Excellence at ATCO Power Canada Ltd. from May to August 2015.

Hailey's first job was as a Lifeguard at Westside Recreation Center from October 2013 to February 2015.

Hailey Monar completed their Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Marketing from the Telfer School of Management at the University of Ottawa from 2014 to 2018. Prior to that, they attended Western Canada High School from 2011 to 2014.
