Derek Austin is the Head of Computer Vision at ZeroMark and a Machine Learning Research Scientist. Currently, they lead a team in developing proprietary metrics and algorithms while focusing on automatic prompt engineering. Previously, Derek worked at Galileo, where they specialized in semantic segmentation and object detection, and conducted graduate research at Columbia University under Richard Zemel and Iddo Drori. Derek holds an MS in Computer Science from Columbia University and a Bachelor's in Management with concentrations in Computer Science and Business Analytics from Boston College. They are also the creator and founder of TheOddsShop.org, a sports betting odds aggregation website.
