Patrick Pumputis

Patrick Pumputis is a Co-Founder and Chief Scientific Officer (CSO) at Zeroshot Biolabs, where work focuses on creating innovative biological foundation models at the transcriptomic level to enhance preclinical confidence for therapeutics developers. Currently pursuing a PhD in Molecular Genetics at the University of Toronto since January 2021, Patrick has previously served as CSO at Acorn Biolabs, leading core technology development and scientific implementation from September 2016 to January 2021. Additionally, experience includes a role as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Waterloo, where instruction was provided in fermentation biotechnology and histology laboratory courses. Patrick’s academic background comprises a Master’s Degree in Cellular Biology and a Bachelor’s Degree in Biological and Biomedical Sciences, both obtained from the University of Waterloo.
