Thomas Heine is an experienced professional in product development and research, currently serving as the Head of Product Development and Founder at Quantum Industries GmbH since April 2023. Prior to this role, Thomas held various leadership positions at XARION Laser Acoustics GmbH from November 2013 to October 2022, including Head of R&D and Head of Production, as well as Project Manager for the development of optical microphones. At TOPTICA Photonics, from November 2011 to November 2013, Thomas worked as a Product Manager for frequency converted diode lasers, and previously contributed as a Senior Scientist in R&D from November 2008 to August 2011, focusing on optical sensors for high-speed sorting machines. Earlier career experience includes project management and product management for grating stabilized diode lasers at TOPTICA Photonics from March 2002 to April 2008. Thomas obtained education from the University of Tübingen and the Università degli Studi di Firenze.
