Grant Limberg

Grant Limberg has worked for a number of companies since 1999. In 1999, they were a Software Engineer/Systems Administrator at Xact Systems, Inc. where they administered eight production Debian GNU/Linux servers and two Fedora/RedHat Linux machines. Grant also implemented a Linux email server with spam and virus filtration system servicing 200+ clients. In 2004, they worked as a Computer Tech at Home Techs where they provided home based tech support, virus/spyware removal, and software and OS installation. From 2005 to 2009, they were an Environmental Scientist at URS Corporation where they conducted field noise and vibration measurements for multiple projects including transportation and industrial sources, managed field teams of up to 6 people for noise measurements, and prepared technical studies for inclusion in environmental impact reports. From 2009 to 2011, they were a Development Lead at Cedrus Corporation where they developed cross platform C++ GUI applications with wxWidgets and Qt, developed a cross platform software licensing administration client/server application, and introduced unit testing and test first development to the development team. Since 2015, they have been at ZeroTier, Inc. where they have held the roles of Director of Service Engineering, Senior Everything Engineer, and Contract Software Engineer.

Grant Limberg received their Masters of Science in Computer Science from California State University in 2009. Prior to that, they earned their Bachelor of Arts in Acoustics from Columbia College in 2005.
