Jayson Benge

Jayson Benge is an experienced professional in the horticulture and agricultural sectors, with a focus on kiwifruit research and sustainability. Jayson began a career at Zespri International in 2003, where management of kiwifruit postharvest research projects was a key responsibility. Following this, Jayson expanded expertise as an Environmental Sustainability Specialist and Innovation Leader, managing Psa R&D projects and field trials for agrichemicals. Later, Jayson contributed to The AgriBusiness Group from 2013 to 2022, leading the development of the New Zealand Sustainability Dashboard for the kiwifruit industry, while also serving as a consultant and managing research projects. Additionally, Jayson held the position of ARGOS Field Research Manager for kiwifruit, focusing on sustainable agricultural practices. Jayson holds an Honours degree in Horticulture from Massey University, obtained between 1992 and 1996.
