Michael Fox

Michael Fox is an experienced communications professional, currently serving as Head of Global Public Affairs and Head of Communications and External Relations at Zespri International since February 2019. Previous roles include Chief Press Secretary to Hon Simon Bridges in the Office of the Leader of the Opposition and Chief Press Secretary in the Office of Rt Hon Bill English. Michael also held the position of Press Secretary to Rt Hon John Key in the Office of the Prime Minister, and worked as a political reporter at Fairfax New Zealand. Additional experience includes freelance reporting and editing, along with journalistic roles at Fairfax Media. Michael's educational background includes a Transition to General Management program at INSEAD, a Graduate Diploma in Journalism from Massey University, and a BA in Politics, Geography, and Development Studies from Victoria University of Wellington.
