Leanne Elske

Leanne Elske has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over 17 years. Leanne is currently working as the Chief People Officer at Zetta Genomics Ltd since January 2022. Prior to this, Leanne served as the VP of People at 7digital from June 2019 to January 2022. In 2018, they worked as the Human Resources Director at VavaCars until June 2019. Before that, they held the position of Head of HR at GEMS Education, EqualED Ltd from March 2018 to September 2018.

Their earlier experiences include working as the Head of Talent at Bouncepad from April 2016 to March 2018 and as the Head of HR at Squint/Opera and Doodle Productions from July 2014 to April 2016. Leanne also served as the HR & Office Manager at Bossa Studios from December 2012 to June 2014 and as the Office Manager at Mediatonic Games from February 2012 to October 2012.

Prior to these roles, they worked as the School Business Manager at The Priory Lodge School from November 2008 to February 2012 and as the Payroll & HR Administrator at Trencon Construction from November 2005 to September 2008.

Leanne Elske obtained an Advanced Human Resources Management Diploma from the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (CIPD) from 2013 to 2016. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from the University of Johannesburg, completing it from 2002 to 2004. Their secondary education took place at Wordsworth High School from 1997 to 2001. Recently, they also acquired a certification as a Mental Health First Aider from Paws in Work in 2020. Additionally, they have completed a course on Advanced Finance for Non Finance Managers from The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
