Jens Hoffmann

Jens Hoffmann is an experienced engineering professional specializing in electrical steering systems and tire product development. Currently serving as Customer Chief Engineer EU at ZF Group since June 2013, Jens oversees development projects, manages a customer applications team, and ensures compliance with legal standards while pursuing new business with OEMs. Previous roles at ZF Group include Global Engineering Project Manager and Senior Project Manager, leading teams and global projects for major automotive clients. Prior to ZF Group, Jens worked at Continental from December 2003 to May 2013 as Abteilungsleiter, managing tire development projects and leading a department focused on product innovation. Jens holds a PhD in Physics from the Max Planck Society and a Diplom in Physics from Heidelberg University, along with additional credentials in South Asian Studies.
