Michael Dring

Michael Dring has extensive experience in manufacturing engineering and management, holding significant positions at notable companies within the industry. From January 2009 to August 2015, Michael served as the Global Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Manager at ZF TRW, focusing on technical leadership and project deliverables. Prior to that, Michael worked at Compound Photonics as a Manufacturing Engineering Manager, where responsibilities included introducing new manufacturing lines for projects. Earlier roles included Production Manager and New Product Launch and Industrial Engineering Manager at Trw, overseeing production departments and managing budgets exceeding £10 million per year. After Trw, Michael took on the role of Engineering and HSE Manager at ZF Group. Michael holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Manufacturing Operations Management from the University of Sunderland, achieved between 2004 and 2007, having also completed education at Gilesgate Comprehensive from 1981 to 1986.
