Peter Howard

Peter Howard is the Founder and Director of Zfolio, a leading platform for managing financed emissions, since August 2022. In addition to this role, Peter serves as an Instructor at the University of Toronto, teaching Climate Change Policy and Corporate Sustainability Strategy. Previously, Peter was Vice President of Project Development and Vice President of Sustainability at Pond Technologies Inc., where responsibilities included corporate development, technology commercialization, and investor and government relations. Peter held the position of Senior Policy Advisor at the Ontario Ministry of the Environment and Climate Change, advising on greenhouse gas reduction targets, and worked as Manager of Climate Change and Sustainability at PwC. Additional experience includes directing climate change services at Zerofootprint, internships at Enbridge Gas Distribution and ICLEI, and work as a Watershed Ecologist and Resource Management Biologist. Peter holds a Master of Environmental Studies from York University and a BSc Combined Honours in Marine Biology and Contemporary Studies from the University of King's College.
