Michael Kauer

Michael Kauer has a diverse work experience in various fields. Michael currently holds the position of Head Executive Education in Real Estate and Facility Management, as well as Associate Professor at the ZHAW School of Life Sciences and Facility Management since 2020. Prior to this, they served as the Chairman of the Executive Board at Gasthof zum Löwen Meilen AG starting in 2018. In 2010, they founded their own consulting firm, Michael Kauer Consulting, where they worked as a Swiss Wine Scout. Michael also had a role as an Associate Professor in Tourism & Service Management at the Institute for Tourism and Leisure, University of Applied Sciences, HTW Chur from 2018 to 2020. From 2008 to 2018, they worked as a Senior Vice President in Consulting Services at Schweizerische Gesellschaft für Hotelkredit. Additionally, they served as the President of the Board of Directors at Hotel Streiff AG from 2009 to 2015. Michael'searlier work experience includes a role as an Associate Professor at the University of Applied Sciences Zurich from 2004 to 2007.

Michael Kauer received a Master of Science (MS) degree in Innovation & Technology from Boston University in 2002. In 2003, they completed an MBA degree at Babson F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business.
