Katrice Saunders has a long and varied work experience, beginning in 1997 with their role as Managing Producer of PBS Kids Online. In 2001, they took on the role of Senior Director of Online Education at The Case Foundation, followed by Senior Manager/Producer at Dimension Data. Katrice then became Director of New Media at the National Immigration Forum in 2002. From 2004 to 2009, they held two positions at TV One, first as Vice President of Digital Media and Creative Services, and then as Programming & Marketing Director. During this time, they also worked as a Senior Management Consultant at The Joint Center for Political & Economic Studies. In 2009, they founded and became CEO of Giggly University (GigglyU). From 2019 to 2021, they worked at ArtsEmotion Digital, first as Rise Up, where they won a Telly Award in the Diversity & Equity category for producing an inspirational skating video that went viral on social media, and then as Abercrombie Kids. Most recently, in 2022, they took on the role of VP, Creative Services at Buoyant Partners.
Katrice Saunders attended James Madison University from 1992 to 1995, where they earned a degree in Communications.
