Avi Koren

Avi Koren is the Co-Founder and CTO at ZigiWave. Prior to ZigiWave, they were the Chief Technology Officer at DoITWise from January 2010 to December 2018. Before DoITWise, Koren was with Hewlett Packard Enterprise from May 2005 to June 2009 as the BAC Chief System Architect. In this role, they had responsibility for the system architecture of the products set under the BAC-HP center and overall integrated solution. Koren led the senior architects team and drove the architecture of BAC against the HP organization, Marketing and Field representatives. The role included architectural design, lead new initiatives, technology investigation and assimilation, mentoring, and outside facing. From December 2003 to May 2005, Koren was with Mercury Interactive as the Technical Architect of BAC SLM. In this role they were responsible for HL product design including the product’s interfaces as well as its various integrations with the BAC engines and other applications. Avi also governed the quality of code throughout the development cycles and conducted regular reviews.

Koren began their educational career by obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Hadassa College. Avi then went on to obtain a Master's degree in Computer Science from The Open University of Israel.
