Matt Huxtable

CTO at Ziglu

Matt Huxtable is the current Chief Technical Officer at Ziglu. Prior to this, they worked as a Principal Software Engineer at Sparx from September 2015 to June 2020. Matt was responsible for developing and scaling the platform that enabled Sparx to reach thousands of learners globally, including significant involvement in migrating from legacy platform to Google Cloud Platform, moving to a multi-tenant infrastructure, and setting up Site Reliability Engineering practices in our day-to-day operations as part of a technology team of thirty.

Before their time at Sparx, Huxtable worked as a systems and software consultant at Tiger Technologies Limited from September 2012 to January 2020. In this role, they provided analysis, design, development, testing and support of software solutions for a range of clients.

Huxtable's interest in technology began early on. In June 2014, they worked as a UROP / Summer Programmer at the University of Cambridge. During their time there, they gained valuable experience working with software that would eventually help him in their future career endeavors.

Matt Huxtable's educational career began with him completing their A Levels at Petroc College in the fields of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Further Mathematics. Matt then went on to study Computer Science at the University of Cambridge, where they achieved a Bachelor of Arts (BA). Finally, they completed a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Advanced Computer Science at the University of Cambridge.

Their manager is Mark Hipperson, CEO. They work with Andrew Yarwood - Head of Compliance & MLRO, Tarun Sachdeva - CSO, and Brandon Keenen - CMO. A direct report to Matt Huxtable is and Alex Kotenko - Head of Engineering.
