Michael Kramer has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Michael began their career as a Research Assistant at New York University Bioinformatics Lab in 2006. Michael then worked as a Temporary Admin and Accountant at First Presbyterian Church from 2006 to 2007. In 2007, they joined LinkShare Corporation as a QA Engineer before transitioning to the role of Data Miner at New York Times Digital and New York Times Company, Research & Development from 2007 to 2009. Michael then worked as a Data Miner at Zignal Labs from 2007 to 2009. In 2010, they worked as a Genentech Consultant at Capgemini Consulting and as a Research Engineer at Klout, where they focused on "Big Data" projects utilizing Java, Hadoop, Pig, and Oozie. From 2012 to 2014, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Marin Software. Most recently, they held a dual role at Zignal Labs as a Senior Software Engineer and later as a Senior Data Scientist starting in 2014.
