Peter Cavanagh

Peter Cavanagh has extensive experience in retail and sales, currently serving as UK Head of Retail at Northgate Vehicle Sales, part of ZIGUP Plc, since June 2013. Previously, Peter held various roles at Northgate plc, including Head of Sales, where responsibilities encompassed overseeing light commercial vehicle sales in Northern England and Scotland, supporting key projects, and contributing to company restructuring. Earlier roles included Regional Retail Sales Manager and Hub Manager, focusing on sales strategy development, operations management, and team leadership. Peter also has entrepreneurial experience as a business owner/partner at Dexter's and held management positions at B&Q and Dixons Retail, demonstrating a strong track record in driving sales and team performance. Peter holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Retail Management from The University of Manchester and a Business Studies degree from the University of Sunderland.
