Albert Periu

Albert Periu is a seasoned financial services executive with extensive leadership experience. Currently serving as the CEO USA of Zilch since July 2021, Periu focuses on innovative payment solutions. Prior to this role, Periu co-founded and led NepFin, a company specializing in providing growth capital to small and mid-sized businesses, which was acquired by Zilch in 2021. Additionally, Periu held key positions at Funding Circle US as Global Co-Head of Capital Markets, and has provided advisory services with Prolific Interactive. Other notable roles include Director at Telsey Advisory Group, Vice President at FBR, and Associate at Merrill Lynch, where Periu specialized in leveraged lending. Early career experience includes an analyst role at Deutsche Bank in the Media Investment Banking division. Periu holds a BSBA in Finance and International Business from Georgetown University McDonough School of Business.
