Nagin Kothari

Co-Founder at Zilicus

Nagin Kothari has over 30 years of experience in the technology industry. Nagin began their career in 1987 as a Research Engineer at the Automotive Research Association of India, where they developed software for simulation of 4-stroke internal combustion engines. In 1989, they founded Kothari FiberGlass Industries, a small-scale industry that manufactured fiberglass coolers, doors, sheets, and articles. In 2001, they became a Software Engineer with Sit at C Software Solution Pvt. Ltd. In 2002, they were promoted to Senior Software Engineer at Vertex Software Pvt. Ltd. In 2005, they moved to PTC as a Technical Lead, where they were involved with CAD/CAM and PLM (Product Life Cycle Management) solutions. In 2007, they were appointed Director (Engineering) and Manager/Software Architect at Yagna IQ, where they led the engineering/development team, re-architected the whole product, and designed server/client (UI) side components and modules. In 2011, they co-founded Zilicus, where they served as Chief Solution Architect and mentor for development.

Nagin Kothari received a B.Tech in Mechanical from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras between 1981 and 1985. Nagin then completed an M. Tech in Mechanical/Machine Design at IIT Madras in 1986. Prior to that, they attended Pratap Collage Amalner and G.S. Highschool Amalner.
