Theodore Bugnet

Theodore Bugnet has worked as a Senior Blockchain Engineer at Zilliqa since 2023. Prior to this, they spent 2 years as a Software Developer/Researcher at Interlay, where they worked on implementing the XCLAIM framework and creating the interBTC wrapped Bitcoin asset on Polkadot among other things. Theodore also worked as a Graduate Student at Imperial College London, where they graduated with a MSci in Computer Science with a focus on security and reliability. Theodore'sfinal project involved designing a cross-chain cryptocurrency-backed asset scheme. At AirGrid, they worked as a full-time Software Developer for 4 months, developing a privacy-oriented online advertising targeting platform that utilized federated machine learning. Additionally, they worked as a Teaching Assistant and Student at King's College London, and as a Research Support in AI at the Software Modelling and Applied Logic Research Group, King's College. During their gap year, they worked as a Software Developer at Firmstep, where they developed in team-based Agile software development and implemented bugfixes and new features to deliver a SaaS CRM platform for local governments and Home Office.

Theodore Bugnet obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science from King's College London, where they studied from 2016 to 2019. Theodore later pursued a Master of Science (MSci) degree in Computer Science with a focus on Security and Reliability at Imperial College London, which they completed between 2019 and 2020.
