Sumit Kumar

Sumit Kumar is an experienced product management professional with a strong background in technology and software development. Currently serving as Director of Product Management at Zillow since August 2019, Sumit previously held various senior roles at Microsoft from October 2003 to August 2019, including Principal Product Manager for the Azure Data Group and Azure AI Platform, where responsibilities included leading product management for in-database Machine Learning and SQL Server Machine Learning Services. Earlier experience includes leading strategy and product plans for the Bing Relevance and Intent Platform, as well as managing features for Visual Studio's C++ development tools. Sumit's career began as a Programmer Analyst at Cognizant Technology Solutions, followed by a research and teaching assistant role at The University of Texas at Dallas. Sumit holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Dallas.
