Johan Strand

Johan Strand is the CEO of Zimpler. They previously served as CFO of Zimpler from 2016 to 2021, leading finance operations globally and overseeing finance and accounting as the company grew from 12 FTEs and 16 mSEK in revenues to 60 FTEs and 117 mSEK in revenues. From 2014 to 2016 they were the Group Business Controller at Polarica, working with the CFO to secure financing and to facilitate business development with sales and marketing; in fall 2015 they began taking on acting CFO responsibilities and participated in board meetings. Their earlier roles include consulting positions at Capacent (2012–2014), Abou AB (2011–2012), and PriceGain (2010–2011), and they co-founded Stockholms Brantaste, Sweden’s biggest uphill running event (2011–2016). They hold a degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from Linköping University (2004–2010) and completed high school in Natural Sciences at Fyrisskolan (1999–2002).
