Brandon Smith

Brandon Smith has worked in a variety of roles in the energy and technology industries. In 2012, they began their career as a Petroleum Engineering Intern at SM Energy Company, where they worked on safety projects and field equipment. In 2013, they continued their work at SM Energy Company as a Facilities Engineer Intern, where they completed an economic review of a Vapor Recovery Unit. In 2014, Brandon moved into the role of Drilling Engineer at SM Energy Company, where they worked on extended reach directional well issues in the South Texas region. In 2015, Brandon held multiple roles, including Co-Founder at Thoroughbred Petroleum, Production Engineer at LINN Energy, and Founder and CEO at Four-One-Four Consulting LLC. In 2017, Brandon took on the roles of National Sales Manager at PowerShield US Corp. and National Business Development Manager at Emergency Power Services Company. Finally, in 2019, they became the Director of Business Development and Director of Major Accounts at MPINarada. In 2022, Brandon began their current role as Senior Product Manager at ZincFive, Inc., where they work to create nickel-zinc battery solutions.

Brandon Smith attended Colorado School of Mines from 2011 to 2016, where they studied Petroleum Engineering.
