David Dettling

David Dettling has over 30 years of experience in accounting and finance. David started their career in 1991 as a Financial Reporting Accountant at Crestmont Federal Savings. David then moved on to Summit Bank as an Internal Auditor in 1994. In 1996, they became a Senior Accountant at Dow Jones. In 1997, they joined KPMG as a Supervising Senior Auditor. In 1999, they were hired by Rhodia Inc. as a Manager of Financial Services and then as a Supervisor of Financial Reporting. In 2004, they joined NRG Energy as a Senior Manager of Financial Reporting, then as a Manager of Corporate and Consolidations Accounting, and then as a Senior Director/Director - Corporate and Consolidations Accounting. David was the business lead for the company's SAP S4 Hana system implementation ($30 million project). In 2020, they joined Clearway Energy, Inc. as an Accounting Consultant and currently works as VP and Corporate Controller at ZincFive, Inc. since 2021.

David Dettling obtained their Master of Business Administration - MBA in Accounting from Monmouth University, their Bachelor's of Science in Finance and Management (Dual Major) from Rider University, and their High School Diploma from Christian Brothers Academy. David also holds a Certified Public Accountant (currently inactive) certification from NRG Energy.
