Alan Malek is a highly experienced civil and structural engineer with a diverse background in leading engineering projects. Currently serving as the Technical Lead-Civil/Structural at Zinfra since July 2025, Alan has held key positions including Principal Structural Engineer at UGL and Senior Structural Engineer at both Service Stream and Lendlease. Earlier experience includes roles as Project/Structural Engineer at Visionstream and Senior Structural Engineer at Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise, as well as Project Engineer at Kordia Solutions. Alan's career began as a Design/Structural Engineer at Daly International UK and includes significant tenure as a Senior Structural Engineer at Oil Pipelines and Telecommunication Company. Alan completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Civil Engineering at Queensland University of Technology from 2009 to 2015.
