Josh Samuelson

Josh Samuelson is currently the Captain of Police Operations for the Zionsville Police Department, where they also serve as Accreditation Manager, overseeing compliance with best practices in policing. They have held various positions within the department, including Police Lieutenant and Police Detective Sergeant, with responsibilities in investigations and property management. Previously, Josh gained experience as an Intern at the Lake County Sheriffs Department and worked as a Patrolman at the Michigan City Police Department. They are also an Assessor with CALEA, contributing their expertise to the accreditation process. Josh is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in General Health Sciences, Biology, and Forensic Science at Purdue University, and is enrolled in the Leadership Academy through the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, as well as the FBI National Academy, Session 294.
