David Doering

David Doering has extensive work experience in the field of software engineering and project management. David is currently employed as an Engineering Manager at Zip Co, where they started in December 2021. Prior to that, David worked at Pariveda Solutions from 2012 to 2021, initially starting as a Consultant and progressing to roles such as Senior Manager and Manager.

During their time at Pariveda Solutions, David held various responsibilities, including managing teams of engineers and overseeing the development of web applications. David collaborated with clients to gather requirements, remove blockers, and clarify priorities. David also played a key role in Agile team practices, such as sprint planning, estimation, and retrospectives. David coached developers on best practices, performed code reviews, and delivered regular status updates to stakeholders.

Before joining Pariveda Solutions, David worked as a Senior Front-end Engineer at a national credit reporting agency. In this role, they served as the technical lead, building Angular components and services to enhance the security of consumers' lines of credit. David also developed re-usable components, coached other developers, and collaborated with senior architects to define development practices.

David's earlier experience includes a position as a Software Engineer at a national executive networking firm, where they worked as a full-stack developer for a .NET web application.
