Michael Rom is an experienced advisor, investor, and entrepreneur with a diverse background in finance and technology. Currently serving as an Advisor and Investor at LendUs since February 2024, Michael is focused on digitizing and democratizing home loans for Australian consumers. As Co-CEO and COO/CTO of Octet since December 2014, Michael drives innovative solutions in business finance. As a Co-Founder and Advisor at Zip Co since June 2013, Michael contributes to a leading Buy Now, Pay Later company with a significant international presence. Michael co-founded CalReply, which was acquired by ROKT, and played a role as a Board Observer for the NSW Jewish Board of Deputies. Michael's entrepreneurial journey began with the co-founding of Netstarter, which was acquired by Salmat. Michael holds a Chartered Accountant designation and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Information Technology from UNSW.
