Tal Bergman

Tal Bergman has extensive experience in data and analytics leadership roles. From 2021, they have served as the Director of Data and Analytics at Zip Co. Prior to that, they worked at Commonwealth Bank for over 12 years, holding various positions. From 2020 to 2021, they were the Head of Strategy and Data Products, overseeing the implementation of data products and enhancing machine learning capabilities. In 2019, they were responsible for data and analytics strategy execution as the Executive Manager of Data Strategy, Management & Execution. From 2017 to 2019, they served as the Executive Manager of Retail Data Strategy for Retail Banking Services. Tal also had significant experience in information management strategy and governance, leading the information strategy and governance across retail banking services from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, they held several managerial positions within data solutions and credit risk management, where they successfully implemented new models, reporting solutions, and improved processes. Tal Bergman attended the University of New South Wales (UNSW) from 2003 to 2008, where they pursued a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sci.) degree. Their field of study focused on Actuarial Science and Mathematics.
