Amanda Yam

Amanda Yam is a seasoned product designer with extensive experience in creating impactful user experiences across various platforms. Currently serving as a Product Designer at Zip since October 2021, Amanda previously held a similar role at Nightfall AI, where key contributions included user research, information architecture, and integration design for tools like Google Drive, Slack, and Jira. As the first design hire at Nightfall AI, Amanda focused on leveraging machine learning to safeguard business-critical data. Prior experience includes a role as a UX Visual Designer at TIBCO, where the emphasis was on simplifying enterprise technology, and co-founding TwentySeven, leading the design of its mobile application. Early career positions included roles as a graphic designer and internships that honed design skills in user interfaces and branding. Amanda holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
