Jiaming Z.

Jiaming(Clark) Z. is a Control and Dynamics Engineer at Zipline since September 2023, bringing extensive experience in robotics and engineering. Previously, Jiaming served as a Graduate Student Researcher in the High Performance Robotics Lab at the University of California, Berkeley, where research included developing a motion planning algorithm and a vision-in-loop flight simulator. Jiaming also contributed as an Assistant Course Developer by creating virtual lab software for UAV courses. Additional experience includes a role as a Lab Assistant at Oshman Engineering Design Kitchen, a Research Assistant at Rice University focused on robotic systems, and a Visiting Researcher at Universität des Saarlandes. Jiaming's academic background includes a PhD and MS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Rice University.
