Mark Hahn

Mark Hahn has a diverse work experience history. Mark is currently working at Zipline as the Head of Operations Planning, a position they have held since April 2022. Prior to that, they were a NPI Hardware Program Manager at Zipline from March 2021 to June 2022.

Before joining Zipline, Mark worked at Fluke Corporation as an Operations Manager from August 2020 to March 2021. In this role, they were responsible for the production and delivery of precision detection technology, contributing over $140M in annual revenue. Mark led a team of 32 operators and various technical specialists, engineers, and associates. Mark successfully executed a recovery plan to overcome a supply gap, returning operations back to a steady state ahead of schedule.

Mark also has experience from their time at T-Mobile, where they participated in the Leaders to Executives (L2E) Development Program as an intern. During their internship from May 2019 to August 2019, they analyzed program performance and made recommendations to reduce costs and streamline operations. Mark implemented a labor scheduling model that resulted in a significant reduction in overtime utilization.

In addition, Mark served in the US Navy as a Naval Aviator and Operations Department Head. From July 2015 to August 2018, they led a team responsible for delivering high-risk survival training to 1,300 service members annually. Mark implemented changes to standard operating procedures, resulting in improved compliance and a substantial reduction in training mishaps. Prior to this role, Mark served as a Naval Aviator, where they flew tactical missions and managed flight operations budgets.

Mark's earlier work experience includes a role as a Project Manager at Pegasus Development Corporation, where they directed real-estate development projects and engaged with civic and state authorities for tax credits. Mark oversaw the development of various projects, including residential condominiums, commercial offices, a hotel and conference center, and a historic rehabilitation project.

Throughout their career, Mark has demonstrated strong leadership skills, problem-solving abilities, and a track record of successful project execution. Mark has experience in operations management, program analysis, and team leadership. Mark holds an MBA from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business, where they specialized in Management Science, operations management, data analytics, and software development.

Mark Hahn pursued their education by completing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from the University of Notre Dame, attending from 2002 to 2006. Mark later enrolled in the University of Virginia Darden School of Business, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) between 2018 and 2020. In 2021, Mark furthered their education by attending the City College of San Francisco to obtain an Early Childhood Education Teaching Certificate, specializing in Early Childhood Development, which they completed in 2022.
