Phil Halbert

Phil Halbert is a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer at Zipline, focusing on the development of autonomous aircraft to enhance healthcare accessibility and reduce emissions. With previous roles as a Principal Mechanical Engineer at Phil Halbert Product Development and Veranex, Phil has extensive expertise in mechanical design engineering, having worked closely with vendors in Taiwan on medical device projects. As a Director of Engineering at Ximedica and Bridge Design, Phil led multidisciplinary device development projects and managed engineering teams. Phil's early career includes a position as a Mechanical Design Engineer in consumer electronics and a role as Director of Adventure Hiking at the California Alumni Association.
