ZipThought is a research initiative focused on the architecture of grounded cognitive systems. We work on the cognitive substrate itself—how beliefs form and revise, how memory remains coherent over time, and how actions are bound to real constraints and consequences across environments.

Our position is simple: alignment is an architectural property, and cognition must be situated in execution, not just representation. We prototype and study these systems with a research-first discipline, prioritizing correctness of foundations over speed or scale.
