Troy Townsend

Troy Townsend has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Troy is currently the Chief Executive Officer and Co-founder of Zitcha since March 2022. Prior to this, they worked at The Pistol as the Executive Director from March 2021 onwards and as the Chief Executive Officer from April 2019 to March 2021. Before that, they were with Greeneon as a Director starting from April 2021. Troy also co-founded and served as the Chief Client Officer of Tiger Pistol, a Social Ads Platform, from June 2011 to April 2019, and as the Co-founder & CEO from April 2019 to March 2021. Prior to that, they held the position of VP Sales and Strategy at Geotoko from November 2010 onwards. Troy began their career as the Managing Director of Insured Creativity Australia in October 2007, providing innovative marketing solutions and insurance services. Before that, they served as an Interactive Project Manager at IC group, overseeing project management, client relationships, and revenue generation. Troy started their career as a Senior Account Manager at DDA from March 2003 to June 2005.

Troy Townsend completed their Bachelor's degree in Commerce with a focus on Marketing and Public Relations from Deakin University from 2001 to 2003. In 2008, they attended the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance for a course in PS146 Insurance Broker Compliance.
