Simona Miroiu

Simona Miroiu started their work experience in 2004 as a Quality Assurance Engineer at Gameloft. Simona then moved on to AMANO Software Engineering in 2006 and worked as a Quality Assurance Engineer until 2007. From 2007 to 2012, they worked at IXI Mobile as a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer. In 2012, they joined AllCloud as a DevOps Team Leader, and later became a Solutions Architect & Branch Manager for Romania from 2015 to 2019. Simona then joined Capgemini Engineering in 2021, working as a DevOps Team Lead until 2022, when they became a Software Product Engineering - Unit Manager until 2023. Currently, they are working at Zitec, starting as a DevOps Engineering Manager from 2023 and progressing to the role of Infrastructure & Platform Engineering Director from 2024.

Simona Miroiu graduated with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Applied Mathematics from the University of Bucharest, specializing in Mathematics & Informatics. Additionally, they hold several certifications, including AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional Level from Amazon Web Services, and various qualifications from Google such as Google App Engine Qualified Developer, Google BigQuery Qualified Developer, Google Cloud SQL Qualified Developer, Google Cloud Storage Qualified Developer, and Google Compute Engine Qualified Developer. Furthermore, they obtained the Cambridge CPE certification from the British Council in 2001.
