Eugene Yao

Eugene Yao is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in developing and optimizing technology solutions for the financial and healthcare sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Principal Software Engineer at Zocdoc since October 2016, Eugene focuses on data synchronization projects that enhance interactions between patients and medical professionals. Prior experience includes roles at RBC Capital Markets as an Equity Algorithmic Trading Developer, where Eugene spearheaded the development of a new trading platform, and at Deutsche Bank as Lead Application Developer, overseeing single stock trading strategies. Eugene began a career in technology at Columbia University as a Network Engineer, following a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the same institution.
